The word around town is that nightlife in Barbados is one of the many things that need to be experienced while visiting the island. It's varied options range from the tucked away humble rum shop to the more popular & larger entertainment spots on the island. A wide selection of music such as reggae, jazz, calypso, R&B, alternative, techno & rock are amongst the musical selections available.

One of the many spots that repeat visitors to the island tend to frequent is Harbour Lights, which is located at Lower Bay Street. This open-air beach front nightclub is located a mere 5 minutes away from Historic Bridgetown and enviably positioned on the pristine Carlise Bay Beach.

There's also the very popular open-air club of Sugar Ultra Lounge in St. Lawrence Gap which offers a very energetic party atmosphere.

Oistins on Friday nights is a very favoured night spot and has certainly grown on the palettes of many visitors to the island.

Of course, these are but a few of the many places on the island that offer excellent nightlife. What are you waiting for? Jump in and enjoy Barbados by night!
